Aka island is 40 kilometers away from Okinawa Main Island.
With no city lights nearby, the ocean is pitch black at night.
Let’s find sleeping fish and nocturnal creatures such as squids, shrimps, and sharks!
* The dates listed are the days when coral spawning is highly probable. Since this is a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to see spawning on those days.
Time Schedule
- 19:00Gathering & Gear set up
After dinner, we will meet at the shop at around 7pm depending on the time of sunset.
Please do not drink alcohol before diving. - 19:30Night Dive
After a briefing on the boat, let’s jump into darkness! Lost of fish will be waiting for you!
- 20:30After diving
When you come back to the boat you’ll discover an amazing starry sky if the weather is clear.
- 21:00Heading back
We will be back to the shop at around 9pm.
Enjoy the quietness of the night on Aka island.

| Requirements | ・Level: Open Water or above. ・Experience: 50 or more dives. ・All participants must have their skills checked on once during a day dive. Please book a leisure diving first then ask your guide for night diving on the day. ・Please read our Health check list and note that for your own safety, we will not be able to let you go on a tour with us if you answer positively to one of those conditions. ・Please be aware that you cannot go on a night dive if you plan to board a flight on the following day. |
| Remarks | ・This tour departs from Aka Island. It is recommended to stay on Aka Island or Kerama Islands on the day before the trip. We also have accommodation on Aka Island, please refer accommodation page for details. ・Please book and buy the ferry ticket to Aka Island by yourself. Please refer to How to book a ferry ticket for more information. ・Customers could change the tour date or get a refund (tour/accommodation fee) if their ferry is canceled and they could not come to Aka island. ・Note that tours may be canceled due to the weather or sea conditions. When possible, we may just change our destination. ・The use of a chemical light apart from an underwater light is mandatory. You can buy a chemical light for 300JPY. ・Please make sure that you read our cancellation policy before booking. |
